Signs You Need New Tires
When budgets are tight, the last thing you want to deal with is a major car repair. Unfortunately, putting off tire replacement can put you and your family at risk. At Big Chief Tire, we recommend annual tire checks to avoid any dangerous situations on the road.
First, look for the age of your tires, written in a four-digit number on the inner circle of the tire. These indicate the week and year the tires were made. If you’ve had the same tires for over six years, you may be at increased risk of flat tires or other issues.
Next, look at your tire treads to check for tire wear and tear like bubbles or bulges, sidewall cuts or cracks, or damaged valve caps. These issues will compromise the safety of your vehicle.
