Meet Kenny Bennet, Assistant Manager of the Lem Turner (Northside) location. He has been with Big Chief Tire since graduating high school and works hard every day to ensure his customers can get back on the road as quickly as possible.
Q. When did you begin working at Big Chief Tire?
A: I first joined the Big Chief Tire family right after high school as a part-time Tire Technician. Since then, I have worked in various roles, which allowed me to gain lots of experience with brakes, alignments, suspensions, and overall repairs. With this knowledge, I am better able to excel in my current role as Assistant Manager.
Q: What has been your favorite role you’ve worked in?
A: I most enjoyed my time as an Alignment Technician, where I got to be really hands-on during each repair. While in this position, I worked mainly on the front end of the vehicles doing alignments and suspensions.
Q: What is your favorite aspect of your role as Assistant Manager?
A: At Big Chief Tire, there is a really big emphasis placed on serving the Jacksonville community and treating each customer like family. My favorite part as Assistant Manager is being able to develop a more personal relationship with each customer that comes in, working to ensure they can get back on the road safely with a smile on their face.
Q: How does Big Chief Tire differ from other auto shops?
A: The biggest difference that sets Big Chief Tire apart from other auto repair shops around town is how they treat both their employees and customers. Instead of focusing on making the biggest profit, we are encouraged and trained to always do the right thing by the customer and their vehicle.
